One Hour on Augusta
Information design
Instructed only to map one of our senses whilst on a visit to Kensington Market, I chose to record and visualize the flow of traffic on Augusta Avenue as I walked North towards College Street.
Seeing all my notes and observations together after I got home that day , I realized that the little stories I had jotted down were very important to my map, they gave it a sense of vitality, community and individuality and that, for me, is what Kensington is all about.
The final result might not be a map in the traditional notion of the word, but it is a snapshot of movement, individuality and life.
